Warwick Long Bay, Bermuda: Outdoor Movies at the Bermuda International Film Festival

The Bermuda International Film Festival -- launched in 1997 with 22 films over seven days -- has grown to screen more than 70 films in four theaters over nine days and is recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as a qualifying festival for the Short Film Academy Award. Its outdoor component, Movies on the Beach, drew more than 8,000 film fans to Warwick Long Bay over four nights during the summer of 2006 and has become a recurring feature of the annual festival.
