West Aurora High School's 2008 homecoming theme was Hollywood Red Carpet, with outdoor movies as the centerpiece: Grease screened at 7 p.m. on an inflatable movie screen in the outdoor courtyard in front of the school. Screenwriter Josh Gilbert, a 1992 West Aurora graduate, served as grand marshal of the homecoming parade.
